I needed to go to the bank today so I popped to a town a few miles away and after sorting that out, somehow I wiped all the data of my cards chip lol oops! Anyway I happened to notice Select Fashion had launched their new Autumn/Winter 2017 range so I thought I’d have a nose.
I recently became an affiliate for Select fashion and the links below are affiliate links. This means if you click on them I get a small commission that doesn’t cost anything additional to you but it helps me maintain and grow my blog.
Whats even better is they are offering 20% off anything in the new range online from 11th Aug to 31st Aug with code: NEWIN20. Standard delivery is free for orders over £15.
If you are a student you can get 20% off of everything!!
I saw some really lovely pieces and the colour scheme is exactly what you’d want for the colder days. Rich reds, deep navy and dusty pinks are a dominate feature in the range so far and I found a few pieces that I really want!
Here’s my perfect day to evening outfit to make the transition from summer to autumn.
The Daytime look
For the day look I went for a casual, comfortable yet stylish vibe. I think the blues, pinks and tan shades compliment each other so well and I think they would flatter all skin tones.
This Dusty pink longline check shirt £14:99 would be perfect for a casual daytime look or team it up with a biker jacket for a more edgy look. I like the longer length of the shirt because it can be so embarrassing to lift your arm slightly and all your mid drift peeks out.
There is nothing better than putting on a pair of crisp, fresh mid blue wash denim Jeans or these Mid blue Jeggings £14:99 will be perfect for wherever you’d say takes you.
If you aren’t a fan of Jeggings these Mid blue wash ripped Jeans £18:99 are a great staple for any wardrobe.
I love a chunky pair of boots in the colder whether and the higher heel gives this pair a more feminine edge to them.
Handbags are a must have so for the daytime look I chose this Tan faux suede shopper bag £12:99
The evening look
This outfit is something I’d wear on a date or on an evening out with friends. It’s not super dressy yet it’s smart, sexy and perfect for all shapes and sizes.
Obviously an outfit needs something on the bottom half and I am a huge fan of Jeans so most of my outfits involve a pair. These Black ripped Jeans £19:99 are quite the statement piece.
I think the beautiful detailing on the Embroidered floral Bardot top £14:99 would tone these Jeans down and together the outfit would be bang on trend without breaking the bank!
If you aren’t a fan of showing your shoulders this black shirt has a similar floral embroidery with a tie choker detail.Black shirt with floral embroidery £15:99
This Black PU fur trim biker Jacket £34:99 would finish off a day or evening outfit with a warm but stylish look!
There is nothing more simple but stylish than a pair of Black stiletto heel court shoes and these are a steal at £12:99
Then for the evening these black handbags are big enough for a ladies essentials ( what I mean by that is pretty much an on the go , mini hair and beauty salon lol ) because I find it so frustrating when you have the cutest handbag for an evening out but you can barely fit a thing in it.
