Lush Halloween & Christmas bloggers evening

I am a huge fan of Lush products so I was very excited to get invited to their Milton Keynes store’s Halloween and Xmas bloggers event.

Although I must confess to something, there is a bigger fan in my household, my 6 year old son. He is obsessed with          Lush . It’s the one store he insists on going to when we are visiting the Intu shopping centre. He loves the bath bombs and soaps. He once spent nearly £40 on them, crazy I know but seeing his cute little face so excitedly running around the store filling up the basket I couldn’t resist!  It also means he is super clean!

🎃👻 Halloween is huge in my house and we go big every year to make it as fun as possible  for the kids, not just mine but the trick or treaters. I love it too so the idea of being able to bring about of Halloween magic into the bathroom was very intriguing.

The full range of Halloween and Christmas products will be available in store from Friday 6th October but the lovely group of bloggers I was with were lucky enough to check out all the products a few days early! Christmas songs played as we drank festive mulled wine tea whilst the Lush ladies demonstrated the Halloween and Christmas range. I know it’s only October but it did make me start to feel a bit festive, if only for a few hours!

Halloween heaven at Lush

The Halloween range of bath bombs and shower creams looks so much fun and is the right mixture of spooky and cute at the same time! My favourites were the Sparkly Pumpkin bubble bar  £4:25. I have a slight obsession with Starbucks Spiced Pumpkin Latte at the moment and the Pumpkin Bubble bar smells very similar!

The Bewitched bubble bar  £4:25 looks like a witches cat and is so cute and the bright green  Lord of Misrule shower cream £10:95 is super rich and creamy and smells incredible! I couldn’t resist buying them!

🎅🏼🎄Christmas  is my favourite holiday. I have 3 children so it’s always a very exciting, joyful time of year.
Being able to relax in a warm bath or shower as the crisp, cold nights set in sounds perfect to me.

Christmas time at Lush

The Christmas range this year is amazing. Starlight Star Bright bath melt  £4:25 is the most beautiful silver sparkly, shiny bath bomb I’ve ever seen. It smells so luxurious and just like winter in a ball.

Meanwhile the Santa’s belly jelly   £4:75 and the Snowman shower jelly £4:50 are fantastic for children. They are wobbly, shiny pieces of jolly, jelly fun that will have any kid running as fast toward the bathroom as you’d usually get taking them to a toy shop!

If you are looking for one bath bomb that sums up the festive season then the  Christmas Sweater bath bomb £4:50 is the one for you, it is like Christmas in a ball. It has Sicilian lemon oil, mustard, ginger, coriander and clove buds which provides a rich mulled wine scent and it’s so pretty as it dissolves, it’s reminded me of melted marshmallows!  Not only is it pretty but the ingredients are great for achey joints and can relax tired, tight muscles.

There is something about the smell of cinnamon that floods me with thoughts of christmas. Warm log fires and cosy jumpers, hot chocolate and a cinnamon and spiced air freshener my mum always uses in December. Santa’s Christmas shower cream  £10:95 with notes of Cinnamon, black pepper oil and cocoa butter is my dream!

Lush Santa’s shower creamI think the Lush Christmas gift sets has so many great products coming out this year. There’s something for everyone regardless of gender or age. Whether it’s one of the pre made gift sets or you decide to buy several festive products and put a collection together, I guarantee you won’t be disappointed!

I mean come on, how cute is this The Man in the Moon        bubble bar £5:95 and the gift set £44:95?! Apparently it’s based on a black and white silent film from 1902 by Georges Méliès called A trip to the Moon.

It’s not just awesome, creative products that this brand stands for. Lush use recycled materials for their packaging, they try to promote recycling. Lush has a cruelty free policy, they don’t test any of their products or ingredients on animals. They also actively campaigns for the worldwide banning of animal testing and supports research into alternative safety tests. It is very clear that Lush take the social responsibilities of businesses very seriously and that is a huge credit to them! If you’d like to find out more about Lush’s views on these matters check out the full Lush policies.

I’d like to thank the wonderful staff at the Milton Keynes Lush store for a lovely evening and the goodie bag we received. I can’t wait to take my son into the Store soon to see what he thinks of the Halloween and Xmas treats!

*Although this was a bloggers event and we were gifted a some samples of products I also purchased items with my money and my thoughts are 100% my own and are in no way influenced by the brand
