Spring at Primark

It’s been a while since I talked about Primark. The weather (fingers crossed) is warming up, the flowers are in bloom and everything just seems better when spring finally arrives!

So I thought I’d check out what spring looks like at Primark. I’ve been to my local store a couple of times in the last month or so and so I thought I’d show you guys what I’ve bought and what I take a fancy to on their website! So let’s get fully immersed in all things Primarny!

It’s great to see a huge brand showing its support for the LBGTQ community and the Pride celebrations!

Yellow can be a tricky colour to pull off but it looks gorgeous in the sunshine. There are different shades from a pastel lemon to a rich mustard so the key is finding the shade that suits you best. Alternatively wear yellow as an accent colour to give a real pop to your outfit. The yellow lace top looks lovely with a pair of jeans and a pair of Killer heels! These yellow court shoes would look amazing with a pair of jeans!

Floral print are daunting but wearing it with a classic ivory tone softens the print and gives you a classic, feminine look that can work within a range of outfits from smart causal to a more formal style. This ivory linen look, waterfall jacket is beautiful!

I often have mini meltdowns during the warmer months with it comes to clothes. I don’t feel confidence enough to wear girly shades and styles. Denim blues tend to be my comfort zone and my style is built around them.

I love the variety of shades of blue. From a light wash, baby blue to vibrant cobalt blue or a mud wash denim. I don’t think you can ever have enough pairs of jeans and I am always on the look out for something that stands out a bit. These mid wash blue girlfriend jeans with rip detailing come across as very casual but pair them with a pair of heels and they are smart casual! They are super comfortable too! This blue print playsuit is so far from my usual style but it was so pretty I couldn’t help but get it.

Last but definitely not least is this cute collection of spots and stripes that I think would take a simple outfit from zero to one hundred 💯 instantly. Patterns like these can be tricky. The key is to wear the pattern on the area your most confident about. So if you want to hide your stomach, wear a plain top then the pattern on the bottoms and vice versa if you aren’t happy with your bottom half. Or just introduce a pattern to your outfit with a bag or purse.

I hope you enjoyed this haul and perhaps you found something you like. Did you notice anything different this time in terms of what styles I bought ?!

I am going through a weird phase now where I want to try new styles. I haven’t had a sudden surge in self-confidence but I’m bored of wearing the same things over and over.

Fashion is all about making us feel good. It’s about showing our identity and individuality.

I want to wear the outfits that I admire on other people or in the shop but would never dare to wear myself. I want to push my boundaries and feel good about myself.

This time I went into the store with a more open mind. Rather than shy away from something I thought, no I can pull that off if I try, I can do it. I could be more confident I just need to love myself a little more!

I  think we all need to love ourselves a little more, then we can love life a little more! ♥️♥️
